Peewee the Pirate, yo!

So, uhm, Ms. Robins.... I totally messed up my eye in the beginning of Spring Break! I'm not yet sure what I did, but the doctor dude said I irritated it really bad, and prescribed me some eye drops with steroids in them to reduce the inflamation. Way red, and I'm wearing an eyepatch because any type of lighting hurts really bad. See? --- ^^^^
My friends are calling me Peewee the Pirate or Patches O'Hulahan.
So, the purpose of this post was to say, any horrible spelling mistakes that I don't catch are because I'm typing all this with only one eye.
Eek.

Follow These!

1. Profanity is prohibited. Children might be present! Not to mention it gets quite boring when reading a list of every swear word in the dictionary.

2. Be honest. Honesty is the best thing to do, because in the end lies hurt someone.

3. Be creative! It doesn't matter whether you write something and don't like it, someone will!

4. Don't hold back. Restraining yourself isn't something you should do, and doing many things that you feel like doing is good. At least, if your intentions with whatever you're to do are good.

5. Shyness is prohibited. Meeting new people and talking to new faces is ideal. It helps you expand your horizens.

6. Don't be afraid to be yourself. We'll all accept you for that.

7. Keep a tidy and orderly space. Cluttered areas cause disorientation.

8. Enjoy what you do. If you don't like it; don't do it. Simple as that.

9. Play fair. If you're going to argue, keep it clean and nice. No "low-blows".

10. Maturity is recommended. No one likes those who act like they're two.

A Furry Little Mascot

I chose the Fennec Fox to represent Of Dust and Fireflies because the Fennec Fox is rather small, and not often known. Almost like the one hidden in the corner, peacefully living out in an unknown bliss.
That's how I picture this Blogtopia to be, small and quiet and not too known, because when something becomes known it becomes cliche and boring. When it's not, it stays new, exciting, knowing when someone stumbles upon it they won't be like, 'Oh. I've heard of this place. Let's go somewhere else.'

That One Place... [[Motto]]

Really, I just thought that this looked cool, and since I couldn't come up with a more creative motto, 'That One Place', just seemed to fit.

No Fear, No Tears

The society in which we all here in Of Dust and Fireflies came from, we felt, was unjust and didn't fit to the tastes. Freedom was severely cut back, and the privacy in which each person is entitled to was constantly ignored. People of different religion/race/gender were looked down upon, discriminated against. We try to work against that, to accept everyone and embrace the beliefs of all.

Government is made to be fair, the people having a say in what happens and a fair chance to speak their own mind. Violence is looked down upon, and prevented in any way possible. Fueds are settled in a simple way; a verbal discussion with one of the law enforcements to watch over and mediate. Crime is rare, and shall stay that way.

Those who wish to leave are free to, not bound by any sort of law to keep them there. Debts do not exist, nor do loans. The currency in which Of Dust and Fireflies has is circulated only in the society, each with a job paid a certain amount to be able to afford their homes and necessities, while each family gains an extra 300 a month for child care and such.
